About Score Trust
Superchallenge Charity Organization for Rehabilitation & Education (SCORE) is a specialized educational and rehabilitation social welfare, non government organization in Kannambra (Kerala, India). Our objectives to serve the underprivileged and the needy by providing the needed education, training in skills, scholarship and counseling so as to equip, encourage, and empower individuals to become useful member of the society. Intellectual impairment is viewed largely as a stigma and acceptance of the child is the biggest challenge that we face, in the course of their development. We exist to integrate children with intellectual impairment through educational and vocational rehabilitation services to foster self sufficiency, leading life with dignity, self-respect and enhance their opportunities for meaningful contribution to the society.
MISSION
Our growth is never limited to the records in the balance sheet; we always strive for something beyond. We embrace Corporate Social Responsibility, in the true sense of the word and consider giving as a responsibility to the society not an obligation. SC Charity Organization shows the face of charity and brings a smile in millions of faces. Registered as a not for profit organization, Super Challenge intervenes in different aspects of the society and ensures the flow of aids to relevant needs. For a human being childhood and old age are two crucial phases in life. Sadly, these groups are badly neglected by their own blood. SCC now focuses to support the education of students belonging to the lower strata of the society. Established in the name of SCORE is formed to address the need of underprivileged children through scholarships and other educational incentives. We also have substantial plans to help people with medical care.
VISION
SCORES Child help programme aim to change the lives of thousands of children every year. Our vision of creating a better world for our children works on the simple yet powerful principle that the best way to change the life of a needy child is to change the world in which he/she lives! Our experience over the last 20 years has shown us that no amount of intervention in the life of a child can have lasting effects as long as the child's surroundings remain unchanged. Child Help therefore changes a child's life by changing the world to which he/she belongs. Child sponsorship creates a network of partners, who in the long-term help build a self-reliant and sustainable community that brings out the best in every child.
VALUES
We promote the overall development of the children helping through education, training and awareness programs, clean drinking water, agricultural assistance and health benefits. Along with this, newer business opportunities are generated among poor families, so that someday, they can continue to provide for the coming generations, even after SCORE has left their area! Child Help is therefore a long-term commitment, and its effects are sustainable and long lasting.
The source of all sponsorship has been personal donations of individuals who share similar concerns and often volunteers to serve the trust in more than one form of resources.
